The
Objective

To fulfil the social housing gap the UK needs 90,000 homes annually.

However, social housebuilding is at its lowest rate in decades with only 6000 SH built in 2021. Funding For Housing (‘FFH’) addresses this deficit by building more Social Housing units and investing in underperforming portfolios to add to SH stock in the UK.

The
Approach

The investment manager has sourced multiple projects with no planning risk and insured construction risk.

100% of the capital will be invested into delivering new social housing units. Underpinning the strategy is the best example of low risk/ social impact; the rental income is paid by UK taxpayers as these are long term social rents.

Economic
Benefits
